DW Windsor's success depends heavily on product design and technical innovation. Our purpose built lighting laboratory provides in-house development and test facilities and ensures we always stay one step ahead.

The equipment is purpose designed and built to ensure that it is matched to the wide range of standards and bespoke luminaires DW Windsor builds and to meet the latest British and International standards. This makes DW Windsor substantially self sufficient and ensures that our products continue to be technically advanced, meet and exceed safety and performance standards, and achieve a continued high standard of quality.

The laboratory power is provided by a voltage stabiliser to hold test voltages to within 1%. Electrical instrumentation is of the highest quality with traceable calibration maintained. Light measurements are made with high accuracy luminance and illuminance meters. Environmental test equipment assures mechanical endurance, integrity and durability of materials and finishes.
