The internationally patented Diamond Optic® consists of four independently adjustable reflector elements which work together to produce a wide range of composite light distributions. Each reflector produces a controlled beam that can be directed independently to put light precisely where it is needed.

The four beams blend together to give a variety of light distributions appropriate to most lighting applications. The reflector elements are normally adjusted in pairs to one of several standard configurations. Distribution patterns can be optimised to match the areas to be lit and individual luminaires can be be configured to perform quite distinct roles within a project. The appropriate reflector configuration is calibrated and fixed at the factory or it can be adjusted on site.

The Diamond Optic® reflector system provides full light control and produces a rapid cut off above the beams to avoid glare and to minimise obtrusive light.

It is produced in a variety of sizes to fit a wide range of products and lamp types, and is available for all DW Windsor luminaires, including specials, refurbishments and replicas.
