Our website and product catalogue include our well-established
road, street and amenity lighting lanterns and columns, but also
feature a new collection of contemporary architectural and accent
lighting products such as spotlights, ground recessed luminaires
and bollards.
With the addition of these new products we are building on an established
reputation in order to offer architects, planners, designers and
engineers a wider selection of high quality lighting solutions.
The development of the unique patented Diamond
Optic® reflector system spearheads the technical advancements
made by the company. It is available to fit most of our luminaires,
including refurbishments and replicas, and gives the architect or
specifier freedom in choice of style whilst ensuring the lighting
engineer can achieve his targets and have greater flexibility in
choosing column locations.
The efficiency of the Diamond Optic® means fewer luminaires
are required to achieve specific lighting requirements, reducing
light pollution and minimising use of energy. These benefits were
recognised in 2000 with the granting of the prestigious Queen's
Award for Environmental Achievement. Other advanced optical systems
have been developed for illuminated bollards.
Our comprehensively equipped lighting technology
laboratory ensures all lighting equipment complies with EN 60598
and appropriate British and international standards. Rigorous testing
helps to ensure continued reliable service in the variety of applications
for which our products are specified.
A lighting design and computer visualisation
service is offered to illustrate to clients the performance advantages
and savings available and supply specification details to help their
projects become reality.
For custom architectural designs, refurbishments and replicas,
the Special Projects department draws together a variety of skills
to provide tailored solutions for each new task. This includes full
project management under a single point of contact where required.
Our lighting range is complemented by a collection of street furniture
including technically innovative illuminated bollards which co-ordinate
with our lighting to achieve a fully integrated streetscape design.
